Next show is New Years Eve in Aurora at Dukes Backstreet Tavern but I really think that I will be playing the Fodera YYS for most of that show. Will probably have the BONGO DD2 as my backup though.

The bass track here is the Bongo plugged straight into my audio interface, with the controls set flat save for a tiny low-mid boost. No amp sims, no effects other than some compression and EQing. Pickup balance is 50%, except the tapping part which is the bridge pickup soloed.
This bass sounds just as good in the studio as it does live -- out-of-the-box. I haven't had to use my VT Bass as an always-on pedal for quite a while now... Never thought that'd happen.
What do you guys think?

Really, the more I play with this bass, the more impressed I am by its tone and sheer versatility. The only thing I find iffy is that the neck is pretty sensitive to weather changes. Of course, this being Montreal, it's probably to be expected, but I get the feeling that a 5-piece neck like that of the Ibanez I have back in France wouldn't move around so much.

It is definately hard to put down. Also, the bass came to me with a Black pickguard, but I didn't really care for it so I replaced it with a Black Ice guard...I think a nice touch. | Great!
