Breedlove Passport B350 SMe4 acoustic bass?
As mentioned in my last thread, I'm not only new to TalkBass, but also fairly new to the bass in general. I've been playing the guitar for three decades, including fingerstyle stuff, and while I have studied bass a bit over the years, I'm just now getting into it more seriously.
Anyway, I'm now searching for a 4-string fretted acoustic-electric bass, and I'm curious about this "budget" Breedlove model. Mainly interested in the general quality of construction, acoustic projection, electronics, neck-feel, and anything else I should be aware of (such as neck-dive or intonation issues).
For reference, I've also been looking at the Fender Kingman, Epiphone Zenith, Washburn Stu Hamm, and other instruments in that middle price-range. For the record, I'm going to use it mainly for practice and home recording right now, but might like to do some jamming as I improve, so I'm looking for something I can "grow into". Thanks.
