I'm actually working on putting together a brown P bass right now. I'll try to post pictures later, but I used watered down black paint on an ash body to make a brown stain.

My brown P-bass. It's actually a 70 Fender, but the original neck was de-fretted. I couldn't use it in my band at the time so I had a fretted Warmoth neck added, and a seymour duncan pickup put into it. Sounded phenomenal until the pickup randomly died.



The ampeg b500dr head was not great, didn't have enough power, and the preamp didn't sound great.

Just saw the thread was 3 months old, oops.
