Mods, I hope it is okay that I posted this. | If not I'll say it. Guys I've seen the pics of all the Brubaker boxes at AP INTL. The Single Cuts are here, the Single Cuts are here.

I did this with my Brute Single Cut and always end up playing this combo. Man it just sounds so good to my ears.

| | | | I hope this is the right place to ask, but several questions about the Brubaker Brute MJX-5
1. How does it sound compared to something like a classic Fender jazz? Does it have more of a P-bass sound (sorry if this sounds like I'm kinda new to bass)?
2. Where can you get one of these online? How about a more custom option (if there is one) for the MJX5? Any catalog to choose certain options?
3. What is the average weight of this bass?

Brutes have a modern aggressive sound. Does not sound like a jazz or a p-bass. With the front sc soloed it can get a pbass tone. The JJX has a nice fenderish tone as well. Like I said with a MJX and a coil splitter it can get a jazz bass like tone but not exactly but it is still very good.
