Burns Shadows Bass Reissue

First of all, hello to everyone. I've learned a TON of information by reading the past forum posts on many different topics so thanks to everyone for sharing...

I'm very interested in this reissue Shadows bass. I have loved The Shadows (especially, their sound) for many years now and I came across this reissue. I was wondering if anyone knew where it was made. I know other Burns basses are made in Korea but perhaps this one wasn't. Also, I'd love to hear any thoughts or links about this bass. I've already read through every past post but none mention this bass per se.

Thanks!
MC

I think that's one of the neatest basses around, at least looks-wise. I've never had the chance to play one, and I'm not sure where exactly they're made.

I do know, however, that Burns doesn't have a distributor here in the US. So you'd have to try to find a used one (which I've never seen) or a dealer in the UK or somewhere that'll sell/ship internationally.

Sure is sweet. I'm most interested to see if it's made in S. Korea. Of course I'm hoping it isn't! They do seem to make a big deal of it on their website. I know there's a review of it in the March 2001 issue of Guitarist. I've contacted them to see if I can obtain a back issue.
