"THE" CallowHill Club..........Official, Registered and Documented (pt.3)

Welcome to the CallowHill club... part 3! This is a carry over from the original club threadS that can be found here and here. I hope your time here will be pleasant. All of you guys out there that own or play a CallowHill Bass are invited to join this club. This club is rather exclusive(small), but there is defintely room for others. There are only two requirements:

#1 You must own a CallowHill or be in the process of having a CallowHill built.
#2 You must post a pic of said bass or at least the progress pic of it.

This thread also will house tons of pics and videos of CallowHill Basses. So here is a warning for those not in the club: Be Careful! The pictures that will start showing up in this thread will cause severe GAS!

This is a carry over of a really old thread that can be found here. Plenty of good stuff there also.

So that being said here we go!

I will try post the club numbers along with a few pictures. Everyone is invited to repost any pics they may have or wish to see!

You jumped the gun- the other one hasn't hit 1,000 yet :D I'll close it for you.

jeffmaccora 10-07-2009 11:19 AM

Just talked to Tim. Glad he is making changes that are positive for him, even if it means closing up shop. :bawl: He's a good guy.

jmain 10-07-2009 12:09 PM

He really is a good dude. I hate that he is closing up shop and hope that after a break and maybe some re-working or whatever that he can open back up. Sucks to see the BS getting to a talented guy. Nobody should have to deal with a bunch of crap in their day-to-day job.

I'm with Majestic that maybe he can streamline some options and slowly add some help. His stuff is just too good to not be out there and would be a huge loss for the bass community.

E-Mac 10-07-2009 12:27 PM

I'm glad I got my p-bass order in when I did. I hope I didn't add to the stress with the woodburn request. Stand-up guy and I wish the best to him... and I'm really looking forward to my p4-22. It should be very cool.

jmain 10-07-2009 02:12 PM

Yeah, I hope I didn't give him any heartburn either.

Mr. Majestic 10-07-2009 08:39 PM

I planned on holding onto mine anyway, but I get ya. I'm guessing that it's going to be really tough to find used callowhills on the market.

jazzcrime 10-07-2009 10:35 PM

:'(...

dreams of owning Callowhill shattered!

needmoney 10-07-2009 11:20 PM

^^ Me too.

It's a REAL shame that it came to this. I was actually saving for an MDM or possibly an OBS which I had discussed with Tim earlier in the year. Great, down to earth guy to communicate with. It's a shame about the customers that are obviously on his back 24/7.

I hate to bring it up, but it kind of makes me think of the Minnieweather tragedy. The guy was obviously going through some tough stuff, and the people with orders just could not get off his back, ultimately leading to a real tragic circumstance.

Some dudes just really need to learn to cool it. Be sure about what you want and be patient, good things take time!

sandman 10-08-2009 01:16 AM

wow, that's full on news.
guttered. I was nearly ready to order another one.

However, I will not be treating mine with kid gloves now, this is a serious gig machine, and is still my number one, I'm having a hard time bringing anything else back into the rotation.

Love ya Tim!!

sandman 10-08-2009 01:17 AM

......only 'hill in australia......

jazzcrime 10-08-2009 02:34 AM

ahh sandy, if ever decide to sell her you know how to find me!

also, that goes for ANYONE else looking to sell their callowhill junk!

stroy05 10-08-2009 06:00 AM

I too was thinking of ordering another one after the first of the year. Fretless!

stroy05 10-09-2009 06:18 PM

Mine should have shipped out to Tim yesterday to complete the build process. Then it will be in my hands to make beautiful music.

stroy05 10-09-2009 10:20 PM

i can bass-sit till you get back

stroy05 10-10-2009 08:44 AM

Now you know how Stacey will treat her.....stick her in a closet and leaver her there with no interaction. How is she suppose to groove with no interaction.

Stacey1461 10-11-2009 08:40 PM

Just got through laying a groove tonight on the Junk. Yall are both trippin. Groovin every weekend on a CallowHill. Got another one ordered too. Which was my idea Chris... I think I feel a spirit of jealousy=trippin...

jazzcrime 10-12-2009 12:00 AM

ahh jealous...!

Mr. Majestic 10-12-2009 12:11 AM
