Hey Gary, thanks man!! Wish I could cancel dinner with friends so I can play all night, but that wouldn't be right.

Working on the pics Mr. M. Got a few shots 'bout to post. Hope I can play better than I can shoot pics.

Dump is right, Jeremy!!

Plastic still on the pickguard. I'm still getting used to the shape of the pg; its growing on me. Originally I was going for a take on the Alleva-Coppolo look with a standard pg and curved knob layout. But Tim laid out the knobs like he does on the MDM models. He offered to start back from scratch, but I figured we'd just go with it. I was already emotionally attached to the body.

The strings are tripping a bit, that's why the E saddle is so far back. Gonna either get some D'Addarios or some Sadowsky Blue Steels real quick like.

Anyway, here the pics is. Lot's of'em.

Thanks Jason. (Cracked me up with that pic you posted.)

Plays like butter. Get action, fast neck, killer versatile tone and light. The lower strap button location also puts the body just a smidge more to the right so the reach to first position is really nice. Never going back to 35" basses after playing this jewel.

Yeah, the bleeding has stopped. And the memory starts to fade. Funny how bass in hand can do that.

So far I'm fully stoked.

That's the plan right now. Not usually the type to have more than one nice 5 string, but look at me now.

I've been wanting to try out an MS5 for a while. Since I had already paid for the 'Hill and was able to sell a couple things, I could affort the Sadowsky too. I was rocking a Squier Aff V for the past couple weeks.

I'm really glad to be one of the fortunate few to have one of these basses coming my way. Otherwise I think this thread would be too much to take.

I'm getting excited knowing Tim's going to be whipping out my Junk any time now...

Congrats. I love the pickguard with no control plate. Beautiful lines.

Does the position of the strap button make the bass neck tilt more upward while standing, too?

Thanks! The pg is really growing on me. The more I look at it the more glad I am that it turned out like this. Great way to accomodate the 5 knob layout.

I don't feel like it tilts more upward. It hangs really nice on the strap and the belly/tummy cut sits just right. I think it distributes the weight better with the proper neck angle. The body and neck are really nicely proportioned also. Not the slightest bit of dive.

Yours has the larger headstock like mine. Is it larger than the first neck? If I'm not mistaken your neck profile is very similar to mine, and that dude is fast!

No doubt, bassthumpa. It snarls with these old nickels on it. I'm going to get some steels for it. Watch out!!

Chris, now that you mention it I think the headstock may have a little less contour on the G string side. Maybe.

The neck is CRAZY fast but not too flat. I think it just pushes it from good to awesome. The nut is just right and the 34" is a nice reach. And the pg is a 3-ply, but almost feels like a ramp (maybe its just in comparision to no pg). I'm loving this neck carve and the smell of nitrol as my thumb buffs it out. The cutaway and heel block are really sweet too; not that I spend too much time up there. But its a great touch.

Thanks Doug!! I had reservations about blocks with a BEM board. But the black blocks (and binding) accent it really nicely.

The wait did take a little longer than a minute, but having this sweet bass in my hands and ears is making all that fade. Tim's work is just sick!!

I'm gushing.
