The pups and pre are Nordstrand.
The pups are dual coils, that are separately switchable parallel, single coil and series.
The pre is V, Blend, passive tone, mid (pull shift), bass and treble.

At tonight's gig my Sadowsky NYC spent most of the night racked, Funknasty had more mojo. Fatter, deeper - funkier.

A) CONGRATS!!!

B) Yet another who gets their hands on one of the very few basses that causes me a GAS attack. Ironically two of them are CallowHill basses, and both recently sold. While I watched, sobbing from the sidelines.

C) Didn't Jeremy originally ordain this bass "Stanknasty"? Is this a formal name change?

I do believe it is a formal name change - far better WAF (wife acceptance factor).

The J(unk) gets most of my attention on 5 string gigs.
Great tone, playability, and nice and light. Not a bad looker either.

I'm totally with you there... I missed this one cause I was offline for a day, sigh.
I'm so jealous of the new owner, congrats.

That's one of the most stunning basses Tim has ever produced, Majestic! I'm sure it sounds just as good.

Whatever it is, it's completely sick bass and playing. Love the sound and whole vibe.

This just came out today. I recorded, mixed and mastered this cover of David Bowie's "Heroes" for Great Elk's single of the month. My CallowHill Junk 5 is all over this guy.
