Hey y'all. I'm picking up my junk 5 on Sunday but need a set of Thomastik flats. Anyone know a place in NYC that has them?

Thanks,
Tommy

Dude, that's sharp! Blue right? What pre you have in it. Might as well just give the specs so I quit asking.

Thanks, jmain!

Yes, it's a really dark navy blue that appears black when out of direct light. Surprisingly for alder, Tim found some nice grains.

My Junk 5 specs are:
-Maple neck with Birdseye Maple Fingerboard. Black blocks and Binding
-Dark Navy Blue translucent finish over 2-piece Alder body.
-Nordstrand Big Singles in 60's position with black pickgaurd, pickup cover and thumb rest.
-OBP 1 wired Vol/Vol/stacked Bass and Treble/VTC(pull for passive)
-Thomastik Flats

She growls.

Thanks, funknasty!

I took those pics with my phone last night. If you click on the thumbnail they should get a little bigger.

If there's something you want to see specifically, I'll try and take some higher resolution photos this week. Let me know.

Sound clips to follow as well.
