Looks pretty solid. I'd say that's a real Prestige model. I've never seen close up pictures like this before. This Prestige looks close to my Warwick Thumb. Thanks, now I'm GAS'ing for this model. |

Prestige 6-string models have been labelled as both SR3006 and SR5006. |

I've only played the non-prestige models (506) but this is the made in Japan model and if it's supposed to be better than the SR 506, it will be an awesome bass. |
You could get a TalkBass paid membership and post it in the Bass classifieds section. According to the link above, this model of SR sold for $700 at that time. And it sold within 2 days. |
Those are great basses. |
Hey man, I'm doing some research and I'd love to help you but your serial number looks very weird... can you get better pictures of it? Nowhere can I find a 5 digit serial number for Ibanez. They're all 6 or 7 and usually include a letter as well as the serial number EDIT: Looks like the above was like that. I may have found something |
Yeah, a good old (and very dirty) SR 3006, this is the version with the Ibanez pickups, before they switched to Barts. This is like the first Prestige branded bass of all time or something like that, lol |
