| Can't Find This Bass in Any Fender Catalog--Help!
The bass in question is a Mexican Deluxe 70's Jazz 4, ash body with maple fretboard, black blocks and binding, noiseless pickups, stacked knobs, black pickguard.
Model number is 0140037521.
Serial number is MX11040557.
I have looked at Fender catalogs as far back as 2010 but haven't seen it. Online searches to the various dealers have also been fruitless. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
In an earlier post, I asked about talking GC down on a price. THIS is the bass. It looks exactly like the American Vintage 70s Jazz bass currently being produced except the AV is passive (and, of course, American).
