Pretty bass.
Looks like it could be the most expensive CT bass ever!

So is it a 2-piece fretboard? Looks like two pieces joined at the 12th fret. An odd choice, IMO, but fits with CT's style.

the 12th fret looks like it's set into a different strip of wood, so 3 piece, technically

You do of course play this through a Phil Jones T-500, plugging in with an Analysis Plus Golden Oval instrument and Allan Shane Modena speaker cables, into a bespoke Shape Audio creation.

If you don't mind me asking, how long was the wait for that bass. Seems there to be so much detail.

I'm still not a CT fan, but it still looks to be finely crafted.

I think the OP said the bass was already near completion when he was afforded the opportunity to acquire it.

This is not a custom ordered bass ! It was made by Carl himself ! He made this bass as one of your "Unique Creations" , he didn't make it to a specific person. It was like your 10 Million Dollar Bass project, I think.

t was offered to me because I was wondering to place a custom order , and he just told (through "The Low End") me about it .So I was in the right place at the right moment and he made me an offer.

Masterstroke! One does not simply "buy" a bass of this magnitude, one is afforded the opportunity to acquire it.

What a beauty!

Can I ask a question about the bridge?

I don't understand how you can have good intonation on a fretted instrument with a fixed bridge like this. I've never seen the saddles on an adjustable bridge in a straight line like this bridge which leads me to wonder about the intonation. I can see it working fine for fretless since your fingers handle the intonation.

Love the carving on the scroll!

Rob
