I've been thinking of ordering a carvin neck for my p bass. I really love the neck they have on the 4k, and I've been using the sb preamp in my p for a couple years.

You might now want to rule out a Warmoth neck as well...They have many options including a slim taper now as well.

Got a carvin bridge and preamp already.

Got a carvin bridge and preamp already. | Do the SB necks swap directly into Warmoth bodies?? Not just the pocket size, but bolt pattern, bridge position, and etc..
If so, very interesting..

Since the carvin neck is made for a 34 inch scale, the bridge location will be fine.
It might take a little tweaking, but it shouldn't be any big deal to mate the two.
