Carvin XB75P

Found a Carvin XB75P at a pawn shop today for $700.

Not finding much on the internet about them, what kind of tone would I expect from this? Is $700 high or low? Would love to hear from anyone who owns or has played this bass.

God Bless

I have an XB75 without the p. Very comfortable, plays very nice and tonewise its quite versatile. As I understand it, the piezo gives it a more acoustic sound. I love mine. What you are describing would go for about $1400.

A student of mine has the XB75 and it's a good bass. $700 isn't a bad price, but if you offer them cash you can probably get them to knock $50-100 off it.

They are nice, they are also 35" scale, which I like but they are not for everyone.
700 is a great deal for one that has some bells and whistles
