Chambered vs Solid body

I was thinking about in a jazz bass type fretless.. particularly with a wood combo like mahogany body with a walnut top, maple neck and ebony fingerboard, what would be the advantage of a chambered body vs a solid body?

My goal is warmth, snap, muah, clarity, and punch.

aaaand go!

You probably wouldn't hear a difference.
It's primarily about weight savings.
