I had purchased a used Squier Active Jazz V from one Guitar Center halfway across the country and had it shipped directly to my local GC. Lo and behold, they'd slipped it into one of these cases without telling us it'd come with it. Not only was it a pleasant surprise, but since I'd already purchased one before, I was certain it was safe from the ravages of shipping.
Here's a possibility…order one from a site that has to ship it to you (Musicians Friend, Sweetwater, etc…). Then you can re-purpose the box for your needs, removing and/or blacking out all the original shipping stickers. Once you've fitted the bass within the case, zipped it up and sealed it back in said box, voila! Decent protection plus an outer shipping box you didn't have to pay for!

With a VT bass pedal and a good amp
Tone almost like Deep Purple - Made in Europe (Glenn Hughes)
Money and time well spent.
People do not believe it is not the real thing!

What a mess. Grimy. And with the bridge as low as it could go, the strings were still a half inch off the neck at the 12th fret. But I took it apart, cleaned it up, reset and shimmed the neck. And guess what? I love this thing. Sounds and plays just like the Fender MIA Jazz I used to have. The frets on this axe are staying right where they are. |

I have one of those. Using it with a Peavey Combo 300. Are you happy with the sound of that guitar? Mine seems a little thin around the low G on the E string. What amp do you use with it? |

| | | | Danelectro DC. No other bass quite gets the scoopy grind that this thing has - does upper register stuff with a pick that no other bass will get. Just love 'em.

| | | | Ibanez Blazer, $67 on eBay. Thanks to my nickel allergy, though, the stainless steel refret has upped that to more like $467. Still a bargain. |
