Check out my new bass!

Ladies and Gentlemen, the Yamaha BBN5A. Can you say "Holy B string?" Yikes this is one killer bass--super tight and tone galore. One of the best I have ever owned. This B string reminds me of an older Modulus Q5 I had but man this is one sweet bass! Wish me luck!

That's good looking, my friend! I've always wanted to get my hands on an BBNE2...Nathan East's bass line & tone on the "new" version of Clapton's "After Midnight" is just AMAZING!

Enjoy the Yamaha goodness!!

I'm with ya', bro. I've always liked the BB & TRB series. Yours looks superb. Enjoy!

Frankly I am surprised this bass did not do well. I am a bit leary that it is discontinued but very solid and this one is a keeper.

Nice, really nice. I had a TRB1005 a while back that was a super nice bass. Probably should have kept it.

I did several sessions with one of these in the late '90s and I offered to buy it off my drummer (it was an Industrial Rock project, and I felt his Bolt-On cut thru better than the Neck-Thru I was using at the time) and he was extremely smart by not selling it to me. Fantastic bass, and the only real difference IIRC between this and the 1-step-above "Signature Model" was that the BB East at the time had a higher grade of Figured Maple on top... electronics and hardware completely the same!
