| | | | Check out my new bass! Ladies and Gentlemen, the Yamaha BBN5A. Can you say "Holy B string?" Yikes this is one killer bass--super tight and tone galore. One of the best I have ever owned. This B string reminds me of an older Modulus Q5 I had but man this is one sweet bass! Wish me luck! |

|  | Registered User | | Join Date: May 2001 Location: Evansville, Indiana | | | I did several sessions with one of these in the late '90s and I offered to buy it off my drummer (it was an Industrial Rock project, and I felt his Bolt-On cut thru better than the Neck-Thru I was using at the time) and he was extremely smart by not selling it to me. Fantastic bass, and the only real difference IIRC between this and the 1-step-above "Signature Model" was that the BB East at the time had a higher grade of Figured Maple on top... electronics and hardware completely the same!
