I quit my band and playing entirely two and a half years ago because I couldn't afford it/didn't have the time due to school... now that it's winding down, I wanna get back up and making my own stuff...
No band, though.

If I had a a grand or two to mess with, I'm not sure if it would be to buy a great stock instrument from one of the usual suspects. Instead, I'd probably use the funds to do a really nice custom build. |

Try to surround yourself with family over the holidays.... And piss off the neighbours with some cranked bass!

I can do a little recording where I can do retakes, but I'll never be able to gig again.

Markbass cmd 121 or 102 combo
PRS studio or custom 24
Gretsch White Falcoln
In reality, however, I have some awesome gear so I don't need any of that (though really would love the markbass amp), and I am getting a vox ac4 for practicing guitar, so I'm still happy! Update Looks like I did get my first item, a P-Nut II! Yay self-provided Christmas! (even better yay to an amazing fiance who talked me into buying it, even helping me justify the purchase!). As thrilled as I am to own this, I'm far happier having such an amazing woman in my life. Definitely making the right decision to marry her!
