Cliff Bordwell Basses

In the next year I am going to be in the market for a high end custom bass. I've looked an many luthiers and Cliff Bordwell seems to have the best prices, options and beautiful basses. I am wanting a single cut 4 string. How is the quality on these basses? What is the neck profile am balance like? My current basses are Lakland 44-02D's, 44-60 and 44-64. Given what I currently have, how does the overall feel compare to a CB Bass?

Some of the finest crafted basses out there.

I have two and would love a third, some day.

Cliff does amazing work. Buy one. Buy many.

A CB Ball has been my #1 for several years now; pretty much since the moment I got it. A Lakland JO is my #2.

Quality and workmanship is top-notch; as good as I've seen, anywhere. The wood on mine is breathtaking, a term I don't throw around lightly, and that seems to be a common element in Cliff's basses. Balance is perfect; better than my JO. The neck on mine is small'ish but not cramped; maybe a bit chunkier and a bit narrower than the JO. It's spoiled me for life; easily the most comfortable and easy playing neck in my arsenal.
