I'm digging the Dola body profile. Still like the original headstock more, can can see the synergy between the Dola and the sum of its parts (that have been revealed).

Yeah. My next will be a "D", or a Ball though. But it's nice to see constant evolution and tinkering.

Here's mine; it's walnut.

The picture just above mine on Cliff's sight is a gorgeous back too!
Nice!

I'm interested to see what the Okume is going to look like once it's oiled and darkens up a bit.

If OK with Cliff, I may drive up to his place on that Tuesday, the 4th or that Thursday, the 6th. I'm so excited, but I need to be careful. Last time I went to visit Cliff, I got a speeding ticket on the FloridaTurnpike.

LOL. We have a west coast too, but with cities like Tampa and Sarasota, not Portland and Los Angeles.

There went saving on the shipping cost.

In my best Homer Simpson voice, "Doah!"

Nice basses and nice prices. Sounds like a win/win.

Cliff is one of the best in the biz when you factor in price and performance. He'll throw in just about any available pickups and electronics and build all sorts of conventional and odd configurations. His pricing makes it easier to buy a "few".

I'm currently using the Rami 6 and Ball 7 in my new band. I'm hoping to record a few new tracks in the upcoming weeks that will hopefully showcase the 7 string nicely. I plan on redoing the bass parts for the track I recently posted. My initial thought was keeping the studio track simple and going wild live. Nah, I think I'll go wild in the studio, too!
