I would have said chrome but if the PU covers are black, then black.

Also, MORE DOLA PICS!

Saw that. Looks really nice. The lines of the wood and figure work extremely well with that shape.

CB Basses

Really love my CB.

If anyone has a 32" four string or a 34" five string to sell in a Big McNeeley, please let me know.

Thanks.

Koog.

I'm really diggin" it! There are a few issues. The Tuners are hard to turn! Hipshot actually revised the bridge because they're having issues. They're sending me a new one. The bass stays in tune! No tuning pegs to get knocked!
I love the sound of single coils but they're too much hum in a lot of the rooms I gig at. I've had to leave the pan dead center most of the time.
People definitely notice this bass!

That Koa top is beautiful!

As far as the new shape goes, I still prefer the older SCB shape and plan to order an instrument with that shape as soon as I am able. However, I do still prefer the new headstock shape and logo over the older headstock shape and logo.

It's really cool to see Cliff offering variations of a theme.

I currently have a Rami and 2 Balls.

I like the look of all the shapes. The lower bout of the Ball bass sits so perfectly.

Sorry to hear about the Hipshot tuners being hard to turn, but that is cool that they are resolving the issue. Please keep us updated.

Message to Cliff.

How do you take your photographs? I mean I assume you use a tripod but how do you get the lighting so even?

Cheers
Davo, I'm sure you remember me ...
