It's also always good to add a link to the new thread at the end of the old one before closing it. No biggie, just FYI. :)

Thanks! It has been fun writing and recording them, as well as dusting off my rusty technique.

Good to hear you're recording again!

Since I posted this right at the end of Part 3, I thought it wise to post again at the beginning of Part 4:

If anyone has some audio samples of their Bordwell's that they would like to share, here's what I am looking for specifically:

1) Graph Tech ghost piezos soloed

2) Parallel Chamber bass

Of course, any other Bordwell samples are always more than welcome!

Happily subscribed.

Here's a quick riff I recorded for you this evening. First time through is with the Bart Piezo Buffer on full. The second time the buffer and magnets (Nordy Fatstacks) are equal. The third time the buffer is switched "off". Hope this helps a little.

CB SC5fl with Nordy Fatstacks and Graph Tech piezo, into a Motu Ultralite MK3 then into GB. No effects, eqing or mastering.

Nice recording to show the effect of the piezo.

Nice echo
FYI... I know it was mentioned on the last thread but I uploaded some new vids with my new Sig bordwell

Very kind of you to make that recording and post it. Thank you so much...it does help!

...and it's nice to hear these Bordwell's in action.

It's Friday at 4:16PM and no update in "The News."

Perhaps I need to get more of a life.

Cliff Bordwell 02-08-2013 04:27 PM

I updated it earlier today, try hitting refresh.

TapyTap 02-08-2013 04:48 PM

"The News" page is definitely updated...I was checking out the fingerboards hours ago.

Bassmanbob 02-08-2013 05:49 PM

Oops!

All is right with the world again. Thank you gentlemen.
