I was the original owner, but a dream bass of mine became available. the new owner is now looking to sell. I can vouch that it's a killer.

It really is an amazing bass, big, comfy and sounds great. Guess it looks pretty cool too.... . So I dropped it off for a refret with some jumbo frets.
Back on topic... Aegagropila have you received #294 yet? |

Glad to hear of the refret decision. Would have loved to hear about the Fender 55 pups, clips?

They were a little too aggressive for my Clement. I had a feeling they might be too bright.Ended up swapping them for some very old EMG's that sound great. Funny thing about EMG's they sound terrible in some basses and amazing in others.
The Super 55's are probably the closest to single coil I've heard in a humbucker. They sound awesome in My other bass and are dead quiet. Though I haven't tried the humbucking Nordstrand or Fralins. I am very happy with the EMG's in my Clement and the 55's in my other bass. I could get sound clips for you if you want? Quote:

I already have a fretless built by Tom.
