Taking into account that there are a lot of faithful Cort owners on TB, I thought that I'd better pull my finger out and start Club Cort to ensure that we all have a number to reference in our respective signatures!
So post a pic of you Cort Bass(es) and I'll send you a number faster than fart after Mexican banquet.....
Peace Out!
** As requested here is the link to "The Cort Club!!!" that was created by MadMark5 - The CORT Club!!! **

Then start assigning from those who requested numbers in the original. Plus possibly ask existing members to PM you to fill in blanks. The trouble with starting fresh as you've appeared to have done. Is that there will be overlap and conflicting numbers from the two clubs.

Can those who got numbers from MadMark5 please PM me with their membership details so I can construct one Cort Club membership list.
Thanks
Thanks

There was an initial list posted in the original thread on page 12 as a starting point. As you've already done request current members to send their numbers. While waiting what I'd likely do is go through the thread and start listing names. Perhaps leaving a wide enough gap and assign temp numbers #200-300. After waiting a week or two for current members to respond. Then back fill the list where the original numbers seem to leave off. It's rather time consuming unless you could somehow get a more current master list off Mark. To me that seems the only decent solution, otherwise the club will have conflicts. I did think about taking on the task myself a few times. But never seemed to get around to it.
Best of luck getting the list updated. My number is in my sig.

I got the list off page 12 but also scanned every sig for club numbers. I am about to post the list that I have constructed, and instructions for non-members to get a number.

If you have a membership number and are not on the below list then please PM me and I will update the list and post again on this thread.
If you previously posted pics on the original thread and didn't get a number, or would like to join the club, then please post your pics on this thread and I will assign you a membership.

| | | Here for my membership number .
Love my Corts. Here is my mahogany B4FL:
I bought it used, swapped out the MK1 pickups for MK4s and replaced the electronics with a Bartolini 5.2 A/P. I also made an ebony "ramp" that I installed between the neck and neck pickup.
Here is my swamp ash B4FL:
I swapped the MK1s for MK4s, replaced the electronics with a Bartolini 5.4 A/P. I made an ebony "ramp" that I installed between the neck and neck pickup. I installed two DP3T switches so I can select single coil, series, or parallel wiring for each pickup. And I put wenge knobs on it. |

Bass Dawg: Good work thus far, I know it's a ton of work. Probably why I kept procrastinating with the plan myself. You've done the worst bit of it though

I believe I'll keep them for a long time I plan to upgrade their pickups (DiMarzio DP126 or SeymourDuncan SPB2/SJB2 for the Action, and SeymourDuncan SMB4 for the C4H).
I also hope I can quickly buy them a little sister : a GB74 OPN, which is an amazing bass. Quote:

And I too breathlessly await my Cort Club number.
