try to match it as best as he can. He also is making me a wood ramp
instead of a plexi one. I don't think you could find another luthier that
will take those kinds of requests seriously. Unless of course you have
some big famous name.
I'm surprised by his dedication to customer services. You don't get that
with other companies.

By the way, was it the tint of the youtube clip, or are both the drums and the bass green?
That wasn't just great playing but I enjoyed the composition as well.
Well done!

The bass is kinda blue/greenish, depending on the light.
I actually have a strong suspiscion my bass is the one pictured on the fbass site here : http://www.fbass.com/html/about.html but I'm not 100% sure because it looks more blue than mine and lacks the thumbrest. The fingerboard figuring is exactly the same though.
I guess I'm at least the 3rd or 4th owner, I also found it pictured here : http://www.bassexchange.com/catalog/...oducts_id=1365
This one is for sure the one I have, but I'm not the buyer from bassexchange.
As for color of the drum kit, I have no idea to be honest!

+1 on George's services, When I ordered mine he actually sent photos of rough bodies for me to choose from:

I currently have one that's in the 10 lb range. Something tells me that the heavier one will definatley kill in the mix. The cool thing is that I normally hate heavy basses but georges basses balance so well that it doesn't even matter to me. Plus when I gig I'm sitting down 80% of the time.

I can't wait to play your new FBass! And don't worry about the weight, we can always fill-in the control cavity with concrete to get the weight where you want it. ;-)
And awesome playing, Groovy Bastard. You make that FBass sound goooood! |

I am trying to finalize my build with Donovan and George to get it started before NAMM.
I originally wanted Nat/Black Enhanced Grain & Gloss Finish.
Now Im GAS'N for Nat/Brown Enhanced Grain & Satin Finish
I don't, know what to do here. In my mind the satin is looking super classy with the Maccasscar Ebony Fret Board.
PLEASE HELP!!!!
Also, has George changed the satin finish to a harder finish as well? Or is it just the same ol' nitro?
