I've been anxiously awaiting this post - thank you for being a man of your word and congrats on the new BN5! And yes, this is PERFECT! Was that Alphaman's by any chance? If so, I got my 635-24 from him... I hope to shoot a similar pics with a BN6 of my own sometime.

Despite having some nice basses, I find I still play my BN6 the most. However, if it were lighter, and had piezos, and that AC look, that could change. :-)

I really like the MTD and BN designs. Gotta give props to luthiers who execute original ideas so successfully. I always thought the BN made a traditional jazz look downright tubby (even a 4-string):
