Those guys get to see/hear me play a huge variety of gear, and while they will normally make a few polite comments whenever I bring in a review bass or whatnot, I appreciate the fact that they definitely let me know when something jumps out at them.
Well, last night, this baby was jumping out at everybody! It really felt great, and I definitely rank this bass up there with the "best of the best" instruments I have played. I have been privileged to have been able to play a number of F basses, and to own a couple, and I have to say, this bass just has a little something extra going on. It's the most compelling F bass I have played, for sure, and it puts a smile on my face every time I pick it up!
Kudos once again, George! | That was a very cool post, Tom
I hate to have favorites, but your BN4 is probably my favorite BN4. Of course, I have never heard it, but can imagine how it sounds and that maple leaf wood grain is just so cool.
What exactly do I need to get into your will?

Video announcement to come later this month. Stay tuned! | This is VERY interesting.
If I get in touch with you early enough, would I be able to not get it in Alain's color (pardon the American spelling)? Or are you wanting to keep these 10 exactly like Alain's?

I was eyeing that one in the classifieds...Tom is right, the workmanship that's evident on those in amazing. IMO, even the non-toppers just blow all the fancy smancy jazz clones a-way. Not to mention the fact that they sound better too.
I was debating getting a BN4 when I ordered my VF. I wouldn't have been able to get a topped one, though. In the end, I'm very glad I went with the VF. |

hope this gives a clear idea of how a VF4 sounds. thanks George! YouTube - Karel Honasan FBass VF4 demo |
