My old one had a maple board, but I always lusted for one with ebony. What are your guys thoughts on the tonal differences between ebony and maple on an fbass. Thanks in advance. |

Hosted by George, Marcel and Fbass? | Yeah, nothing special...just the usual fantastic playing, clear explainations, great basses. You know, that kind of stuff.
That was the first time I've seen him as a clinician and he is well worth seeing. Lots of discussion on how and why you need to get deep into using the modes correctly and technique. All of it clear, with examples and a really dry sense of humor. There were some amazing fretless basses to check out and lots of bass players there.

Randyt | +1. I wish everyone would check out his 3 albums; all of them are really top notch -- not just the bass playing but everything.
