My fake. An El Degas, sold in Canada, produced in Japan. Many of the same features as Quad's, except for binding and the toaster.

It even came with the original case and candy!

Here's one I sold recently. An Aria:

And here's a Greco I owned a few years back:

Hah, good one! Hey, what's done is done. These were done in the '70s. Shall we hide them away for none to see? Hell no! Show em off folks!

Not all are 70's.

For example, this beauty, while not as accurate as some(no ricky headstock, or cloverleafs, being the biggest differences, though there are a million more), is a mid 09.

I made the pickguard myself, fwiw.

My first real bass, bought new in '75 ...
Ibanez 2388B Rickenbacker 4001.
All the guys were playing Fenders - I needed something different

The sound is more Rickenbacker than the pickups would make you believe. Construction and detail down to the checker binding is spot-on

Here ya go,

As you can see, its far from the Ricky style, but it dosen't bother me one bit, I just wanted someting that played and sounded great, with the Ricky look in general, which its got.

Oh, the Duncan Ricky pickups came stock on it.

Oh, and here's a pic of it as it came out of the box, day 1, completly stock.
