I had a ........... (what the hell was it.....) a Pedulla Rapture RB5, Bart soap bar in sweet spot, probably a P2 size. Super punchy and beefy, better than a P bass in a few ways.

Wonder if Roger (with no "D") ever made a fiver like that was not based on a 51P vibe, but more like a modified J bass? I be s'posing he could do a special order. Just curious.

My vision is starting to come to life
Started a Solid body (non-chambered) Alder/Rosewood JJ build a little while back. The biggest concern I had was getting a light weight, resonant piece of solid Alder. I requested final build weight to be approx 8.75 lbs.

Kevin just sent me an email with this little gem attached:

Add 5lbs for the rest of the instrument for an approx final weight – we arrive at 8.6 lbs !!! I asked, and they delivered! Even lighter then requested, while still keeping it an unchambered solid body!

Yeah, I noticed that too... but this is going to be a solid Vintage Shoreline Gold finish.

Here is my photo-chopped vision:

Knowing its going to be around 8.6lbs makes this wait time all the more worth while

Ha, I know this bass very well!!! If no one changed anything it should have Nord NJ4SV
Nice and light , very resonant! That bass played on Tom Jones stages and some other big night shows!
I didn't know it ended up in France.

Thanks Maurillo for the informations.

I've bought the bass in Czech republic via Basschat (UK).

Anybody knows Blair's (P. Bass) whereabouts?

It's been a long time since he posted on the thread; he has not even been on TB for a few months. I also emailed him with no answer.

I'm a little concerned.

I have to agree with this statement. I was going to sell my Will Lee 4 but after playing my last 3 gigs with it I am just loving the way it cuts through the mix. And how easy it plays. I am glad it didn't sell. It's funny how what's meant to be works out for the better sometimes. At this point I am thinking about selling my Lakland 55 94 and getting a Sadowsky 5 and going all Sadowsky.

You won't get any arguments here on this.

I've been wondering about Blair for some time, now. I thought that I missed a post somewhere regarding Blair.

Lee you and he were exchanging clips for awhile weren't you?

Good call David! Your WL has a special meaning. You don't want to part with that!
