I have an very light metro Will Lee (seen here) http://www.sadowsky.com/stock/view/m4836.html

that is my regular "go to" for all my gigs. While wrapping it up at the end of the night, my guitar player was helping me load out.(A rarity, I can assure you.)
He hustles over to me carrying my Sadowsky case and says "Dude where's your bass?" and he holds out the case...now I know I put the bass in the case minutes before this. (Still, there was a moment of panic) I picked up the case, and just had to laugh...of course it was still there...he just never expected a bass to be as light as that..I had to unzip the case and show him it was indeed there.

Has this happened to anyone before? I know there has been a few times where I've grabbed my case for practice or a gig, where I have to stop and partially unzip it to make sure the bass is still inside. God I love my Sadowsky's
Not with a Sadowsky, but I've received suspiciously light boxes from the Dingwall factory and thought "I hope they remembered to put the bass in here...".

Beautiful!

I guessing Ash from the grain? And Morado from the color of the fretboard?

I love that classic vintage look and form.

Congrats!

Been on the road but now I'm home for a while. It took me a bit to get upto date. There are some great looking new Sadowskys guys. Great stuff!.

A question. What type of pups has Roger used in his 524's. I have one with the larger pups with 1 screw on each side. Just curious.

LOL!!!! because a family member was tragically struck with hospital bills, and on the way to visitation they were hit by an uninsured motorist just as they were cancelled by their current insurance company for bogus reasons, which precipitated a court case incurring huge legal fees, just after donating their last dollar to the needy... you get the picture...
Fixed it for you...
