Im all in with my 2 babies, Lowered the action on the Rosewood one to match exactly to my maple one, WOW....I AM in Love. They feel identical now. Been meaning to do it for a while and got to it this morning before working on new songs. I had a sorta of gig this past saturday played the rosewood one thru my new Tonehammer 500....I was in Bass heaven. cant wait to get some Aguilar DB112 to go with the Tone hammer 500. Anyhow sorry about my story, i am IN.

Diggin' the 2nd one.

Edit: Although the first blue one with a roasted maple BE board would be pretty killer...

I'm in with three in my avatar, but times are tough and the UV70s need to go to help fund the custom in my future. Hint below.

Yeah, I am leaning to going el natural and dropping the pained body design.

BTW, I added another bass design to my post #32.

And version #1, I am thinking of changing the BEM to a flame or just a plain maple neck.

In with my fretless vintage PJ~JJ. Not many fretless around here.
I'm on the fence with this bass. It doesn't get played so I put it up for sale. Few days later I take it out of the case to remind myself how amazing it is and off goes the ad, until the next time.

It sure is an amazing instrument. If it weren't for my Double Bass, it'd still be with me.

Yeah, I've got the uber-fancy flame top 24 fret JJ5 vintage, and the exemplary (at least IMHO) Metro PJ5, but this one right here just continues to blow my mind every time I play it. I rank it right up there with at least one other bass I own that I completely fall in love with every single time I play it. Yeah, it really is that good... at least to me.

And as much as I'm an exotic wood nerd, I'm just really in love with charm of it's visual understatement, especially when combined with its simply badass tone. And I'm also really glad I did the Tru-Oil thing on the neck... just feels SO good.

Further, I paid like almost Metro pricing on it the way the deal worked out. Talk about luck. OMGOSH.

Get the hell out the way... 4098 coming through...

Let's put it this way... I'm pretty sure this bass will have to be dealt with someday in my will. Just sayin'.

Hey, we all get lucky sometimes. It was just my turn back in 2008 on this one.

Alrighty then.
I've used Part 31 as an excuse for a quick new photo of The Sadowsky Triple Threat.
.
I have other basses that I use and like very much, but the MV5 in the middle is pretty much My Main Muchacho anymore.

Delish. I was just complimenting Chef on his natural, black and maple beauty on FB a minute and a half ago.
