WOW! I bet they hated to let that one go out of the shop when it was finished. Absolutely beautiful.
Roger & crew have done it again! Amazing -

| | Registered User | | Join Date: Nov 2011 Location: North Lanarkshire, Scotland | | | Having been a bass player for 20 years, playing mostly playing Fender's, Ibanez and Laklands, I'm proud to say that I finally became a member of the Sadowsky family over the weekend just past, buying a 2nd hand Sadowsky MV4 and I've got to say, it is by far and away the best guitar I have ever played, let alone owned...!!
I was out and about in Glasgow on Friday, getting the final few items of my wife's Christmas present when I happened to stumble into Guitar Guitar for a little browse. Before I knew it, I had two guys in the shop hover around me asking if I needed any assistance to which I politely declined and said I was merely window shopping as "I'm not really in a position to buy right now!" and just as I was about to leave, I got the "oh, wait 'til I show you this that just came i yesterday"...he came round holding what I would only describe as being my perfect bass, and let have a wee shot...it just felt right, the action was absolutely perfect and the neck was playing so fast...I knew I had to have it...but in the end, I allowed my head to rule my heart and walked away. But all Friday night I couldn't stop thinking about this bass...back in Saturday, shop opens at 10.00am and I was in about 10.01am...!!
I can genuinely say I will own this guitar until the day I drop, I'm loving it that much.
Thank the lord for credit cards and 12 months interest free credit. |

This recent divorce has left me cash strapped and the re-fi on my house isnt helping.
Will offer it here first.........
Might be my all time fave 4 string I've owned....

| | Registered User Owner: Sadowsky Guitars Ltd. | | | | | Sneak Peek Here is a sneek peek for Club Sadowsky members. This is our new prewired preamp assembly for retrofitting the Sadowsky Preamp to other instruments. We are working on the packaging now and hope to have it on our Online Store soon.
Includes control plate and knobs. There is also enough wire length between pots to accommodate 4 in line rear mount as well as diamond patterns too.
Installation requires moving the jack to the side and installing a 9V battery holder.

this looks great, and, as nice and tidy as Sadowsky owners have to come expect.
I think you've done a nice job with that! Quote:

My favorite Fenders were old pre-CBSes where the nitro became golden brown, or even outright brown. The Sadowsky vintage tint is way cool, but the roasted necks (even without birdseye) are even cooler IMHO. My next Sad-wow-sky will most definitely have a roasted maple neck! |

To be able to take virtually any Jazz bass and drop in these electronics, bumping up the performance as much as these will, is an incredible opportunity for a lot of us with collections of plain vanilla Jazzes in the closet!
Congrats Roger on this great idea.

Moving the jack to the side and creating a battery area are both very invasive, requiring routing, drilling, and hardware installation. This preamp's target market is pretty specifically only J basses that shipped new with a preamp/endjack already in them.
That said, I can think of one I'd like to try one of these on. |
