I have other basses that I use and like very much, but the MV5 in the middle is pretty much My Main Muchacho anymore. | NICE! I'm printing this. Makes Great artwork Chef!

Let's put it this way... I'm pretty sure this bass will have to be dealt with someday in my will. Just sayin'. | I'm generally more into "exotic wood" and the no-pickguard look but I'll never get tired of the classic 70s ash/maple/black pickguard combo. Love it! |

And as much as I'm an exotic wood nerd, I'm just really in love with charm of it's visual understatement, especially when combined with its simply badass tone. And I'm also really glad I did the Tru-Oil thing on the neck... just feels SO good.
Further, I paid like almost Metro pricing on it the way the deal worked out. Talk about luck. OMGOSH.
Get the hell out the way... 4098 coming through...
Let's put it this way... I'm pretty sure this bass will have to be dealt with someday in my will. Just sayin'. | Itried to make my Bass sound just like 4098 @ band practice last night and I just couldnt find the frequency that stands out on that Bass. Mine sounds very good and pleases me but that is one special sounding Bass. And a little note: We were discussing your Bass last night and the drummer and guitar player both said that is one of the most beautiful classy looking Basses they have ever seen. So your gonna have to quit calling #4098 plain. I seem to think its Beautiful + it just comes alive in your hands. |

Being it's a solid body no doubt contributes to its tone.
