That looks like a metro uv-70 4 string in cherry burst.

It's gotta be a Metro model because it has binding on the neck and New York models don't offer neck binding.

Quote from Kevin when I tried to order binding on the NYC Will Lee I'm having built. "Binding is only available on the Metro UV70 Model."

It was in his post... "UV70" or "Ultra Vintage 70's", meaning full sized body and 70's pickup spacing.

One photoshop with maple and one with rosewood board?

Here you go - I had fun doing this!

I didn't do the work, but I'll post the pics.

I got you covered for now.

Just be advised if you want to save these pics, download them. I can't promise how long I'll keep them.

Personally, I'm not much into blocks without binding for some reason. This may also be what you're essentially saying too.

However, I'm also not into dots WITH binding. Here I know we disagree.

Ummm...we might not disagree on that.
It's a 62 J bass thing, and that's sorta where that combo belongs.

Except for on that one bass I had built

This baby should be here before the week's end. I'm excited, the best sounding bass I have has similar woods. My first Sadowsky, so maybe I can join this club too...lol?

Interested in your experiences with ash body, maple top, morado fingerboard. This bass has hum canceling pickups, but that could change if I don't here the snap I'm used too, any input is appreciated.
