Even when I play up high, I seem to play an open string here and there. I wouldn't be likely to use one.

Interested in your experiences with ash body, maple top, morado fingerboard. This bass has hum canceling pickups, but that could change if I don't here the snap I'm used too, any input is appreciated.

Even taken with the usual grain of salt, the endorsements speak loudly. A number of top players (including Vic Wooten, IIRC) use a scrunchie. Why not something more elegant, actually designed for the job? I think the fretwrap is a great idea.

That said, I personally wouldn't use it because I'm not a fancy player: I'm a stay-at-home support guy who doesn't slap much.

I'm like you. However, I'd kind of dig trying it out. Might be cool for certain songs.

My very first Sadowsky custom NYC build.

Got her home, unboxed her, took a deep breadth, braced myself, and opened the case. Wow. Just wow!

It may be my imagination, but the fit and finish is extra special on her. Perhaps the 7 month wait had something to do with that? Whatever it is, its just amazing. She feels at home in my hands already, and has that classic P sound. I'm in love.

Your new bass is making me gas for a gold guard for mine

By the way, I thought you said you had it strung with rounds. They sure look like flats.

I think this means you have to change your username to " P. Bass 2".
Thanks for furthering the P-Bass sensibility with this gem! Keep on thumpin' bro.

Thumbs up

Thanks all

Thanks really goes to Roger & crew as this bass came out EXACTLY like I thought it would. Love the reliablity & consistency of his instruments.

Roger, you rock!
