Not done yet, but I really like how it's coming along.

a lot of nice P-basses here. I'm partial to my '78 fretless P (on the right in the first pic, on the left in the second). The first pic shows two Ps that are both "Olympic white" but 30+ years apart in age. The '78 has literally mellowed (or yellowed).

Also, what's the story with the yellow jazz on the right?

I love the look of this all rosewood one. It must weigh a ton and I wonder how it would sound. But love looking at it.

I used to have a mahogany one. Same pickups, bridge, tuners. Cool bass

I humbly present my recently finished parts bass. I think she's a looker.

Here is the latest rendition of my 2011 AmStd Precision -

This is the '75 that inspired it -

From the day I bought the '11 brand new, this was how I intended for it to look. Nearly two years later, it is now complete.

This is very beautiful, but what is that section of wood that looks like a repair job?

That wood is beautiful, but I'm wondering how you play the E string with the thumbrest so close.

I have a VERY similar bass. One 62P pickup, though and a brass pickguard. All rosewood Schecter Neck, Walnut body.

So happy to see that P-bass found a good home. It is a sweet little bass!
I built that for a dealer event the Custom Shop had a couple years back.
The color was based off of a Japanese cherry blossom tree.
