Copper Metallic Burst?

Sign in to disble this ad
I was browsing the Fender website, looking at the Standard line, and I noticed they've added a new color called "Copper Metallic Burst".

They don't have any pictures up yet, but has anybody seen one of these?

It sounds interesting - but is it cool, or some hideous antigua-type finish?

Looks like a regular sunburst from here... maybe I need to see one in person to get the full effect of the metal flake. Very nice to see Fender trying for something original, though.

Not at all what I expected. I was expecting something closer to the Dano Longhorn copperburst. Not sure I like it yet.

+1. I had high expectations when I heard the name of the color; but that color doesn't jive with what I expected. Kind of blah, IMO...

It's also being advertised as a 'limited edition' color. I wish they'd just expand the color selections.
