Is Cor-Tek Korea Producing Basses Again?

Cor-Tek, the giant Korean guitar/bass manufacturer that made virtually all the country's export instruments, moved operations to their Indonesian factory and closed down their plant in Inchon in 2008. Remember the news articles? Even their website is gone.

Today I got a bass that was oviously built by Cor-Tek. It's made in Korea, with distinctive Cor-Tek touches...but dated 2010, with the new smell and everything, and I understand that there are currently some Korean FMIC product as well.

Anyone know what's going on with this? Was Cor-Tek's production facility sold off to some other Korean company and reopened or what?

For some weird reason, I grabbed a copy of BassPlayer magazine this weekend. I thumbed through it and noticed a 2 page add(or was it short review?) of a new Cort bass. In the side bar, it said it was "made in Korea". The issue is the one with the new, big money Ampeg on the cover.
Apparently, the Cor-Tek Korea factory is operating at some level of capacity, at least.

I hate Cort's website, very slow update rate...it's almost like they're trying everything in their power not to promote their stuff....pfff.

Now that I am back home, I can specify,it is the March 2011 issue "Soundroom" article featuring the Cort A5- Custom Z. Street price of 905, made in Korea.
