Question Cort Action V DLX vs Yamaha RBX375

Sign in to disble this ad
I posted this in one of the sponsored forums, but now I realise it is probably better off here;
I'm looking to get a five string bass (have been playing a Yamaha RBX270 for close to three years now) and I really like the RBX series and have heard great things about the 375, but recently Cort have caught my eye and I like the look of the Action V DLX, and i am now torn over what to get...
I mostly play metal and hard rock, but I also like to play funk and a fair bit of slap, so basically I want an all round bass, and I'm wondering which bass would suit me best?
Also, what is the Australian RRP on the Cort, as well as any details anyone can give me about it (like how the pickups are, tightness of the B string etc)?
Cheers

The Cort I can't comment on, but I own an RBX375 and I couldn't be happier with it, it has a fairly versatile sound, and should cut through a usual metal mix or a hard rock mix. As far as slapping goes, I can't comment myself since I'm no good at slapping - but I've heard people go crazy on the 375 and it did sound good.
