| It is It should be a former MIK B5 fretless
It sports some particulars now on Artisan "C"(H) series (now - I mean: Indo plant range - "entry level" among Artisans): so the one piece wenge neck and the two band equalizer
Now every Artisan (C - one piece neck, two band equalizer; B - five piece neck, three band equalizer; A - five piece neck, three band equalizer, neckthru and stringthru contruction) sport a very useful on/off switch to disengage electronic
Anyway you're goin' with a former one piece wenge neck (that is absolutely solid and reliable) and two band equalizer (that is still effective on those wide Alnico soapbars) but you already have a mahogany body with elegant tobacco burst (glossy) finish and reliable Gotoh himass bridge.
So yes: I really think the price it's bearable... but as you're right and Cort, despite its quality and accuracy, tend to sell cheap, I think you can try to tear that price down a bit.
Cheers,
Wallace
