1)what kind of bass is that?
followed by...
2) that's a CORT??
I always make them play it, and 100% of the time people are amazed that it is INDEED a Cort and plays really well. SO I thought it was time for a Cort club. not to mention I just wanted to be the first member of SOMETHING...
so show your Cort's with pride!!!!Stock, Modded, broken into pieces, it doesn't matter!!!
My extended bass family, with my A5 and B5 front and center

These basses deserve much love!
I had a Cort GB-94, which was a seriously nice bass....I just didn't dig the MM pup in the bridge position very much.
I now have an Artisan A4 neckthrough. Wow When I bought this bass I had six others. Now I only have it and my fretless!
It's beautiful.
The only thing I want to do to it is maybe replace the EQ in/out switch with active/passive. |

Alot of people refer to the switch on the A4 as active passive, but it's not. It just defeats the EQ. You're still running through the pre amp, just that the EQ knobs have no effect.
The funny thing is I've read some reviews that say "the great thing about it that it sounds the same in "passive" mode as in active mode with the EQ set flat"
No kidding! LOL That's because it's still in active mode, but has the EQ set flat.
I want true passive, which I will play most of the time, but with the ability to switch to active if I need to give particular frequencies a boost.
Of course, I'm not commenting on what your c4z has...I've never played that bass.
Just that contrary to many people's belief, the switch on the A4 is not active/passive, but simply EQ on/off.
For any users that are skeptical, try playing your A4 with no battery in it with the switch set to off. It won't work . In a true passive configuration of course the bass will work without a battery. |

the c series has a cheaper preamp than the a series and it is a true active passive, (the volume pot is push pull) rather than the a and b series where its just a eq defeat
