Everytime (well Ive only done it once so far being today) I change my strings on my Warwick corvette double buck I use Dunlop 01 fingerboard and prep cleaner and then dunlop 02 fingerboard deep conditioner. What I was wondering can this affect my tone at all?

Changing the strings will damn sure change the tone, the rest is maintenance, and any change should be negligible.

No, wont change tone. The deep condition by dunlop can make strings go a bit dull sounding if you get sloppy while useing it while strings are on. I did that once. Do let the fretboard dry for a few minutes afterward before playing. When I use the deep conditioner I go up and down fretboard a couple times then use soft clean cloth to wipe it evenly over fretboard. Just use a little. Enough so fretboards shines a bit but not wet. Prep cleaner should not be needed in most cases unless its got a bit grungy imo.

The only time fretboard conditioner moisturizer etc or wax for body would affect tone is If you get bunch on strings. That can make em duller sounding. And if fretboard or body was very dry to near cracking, then once fretboard or body was restored to good condition, tone might well improve a bit.
