maybe we should start a thread called "Who still has their Bently basses"
However, when the company was selling a lot of units towards the end of their life they came out with the "PRO" line which was NOT made out of plywood, a lot lighter and a lot nicer electronics put in them which is why I still have my Eclipse, plus I only paid 75.00 for it and it does not hum, it has a straight neck, and I enjoy bringing it out to let people laugh at it since crackle finishes are not too popular anymore to the masses.
Let's put it this way, I have owned 4-5 Series-10 plywood guitars in the day, all nothing but cheap junk to set on fire if necessary or as backup guitars....
here's one of the other late 80's Bently "pro's" I still have made out of alder wood which gave you a 24 fret finned neck, and a licensed by floyd trem, which I would consider playable. I think I liked them because they used finned inlays like my Jacksons. It is NO Jackson, but always stayed in tune
