I got this bass a couple weeks ago from the seller in South Phoenix. Broken truss rod as said, high action (almost unplayable). Traded a Schecter Stiletto and got cash back for the difference. Great guy.

Anyways, have brought it to a luthier/repairman and he's willing to fix it up (for an expectedly-steep price). Pics within the next few days as my computer is in the hospital and can only use the computers at work or in the library. Great sounds, but may end up parting her out for the pickups and electronics to put in a well-playing jazz bass.

Status 1000 Series headless bass from the mid 1980's. White/black, neck-through with active Status jazz bass pickups.

Oh ok.....I remember those.

I had a Washburn Bantam B3 (Steinberger paddle bass clone basically, wood) like this, bass version:



Both of which were around the same time I believe.
