Well, it looks like a left handed Fender Jazz Bass that is in really bad shape. I've never seen that model before. Got me.

obviously fender never made it. it doesn't even have a bridge pickup (or route for it). there's not one single fender part on it. it looks alot like the south american or european counterfeit 'fenders' that i used to see.

It's in no way, shape or form a Fender.

It looks like a vintage black lefty "Fender Jazz Bass" with a single neck j pickup!


Those must be very rare, i presume?

I think that's a photo flame SX. Probably sold for less than $175 brand new.

The headstock looks awful. I love that the pickguard and the control plate look too big for the bass. Someone please buy this and review!

LOL!! He has no idea what it is despite the neck plate bearing the SX logo and his "research" indicates that it may be a Steinberger Synapse?!!!

Did anyone happen to notice the nut is the cheap plastic style that sits at the end of the figerboard?

?? Majority of acoustic basses, guitars and gibsons use nuts like that?
