Crazy Rick Kelly Bass

This is listed in my local area. It does not seem to resemble anything I have seen from him, but my knowledge is limited. Does anyone have any thoughts on this bass?

Looks like something Bootsy might have played, or would work in a glam band. That is funky!!

I do know that Rick Kelly is known mostly for his hand made Telecasters from 100 year old pine reclaimed from an old building on the Bowery. Lou Reed among a few other notables play or played them.

I have seen his strat style guitars with the upper horn sculpted into an eagle head, so I know his designs can be a little eccentric.

I'm intrigued by this thing, because it's so off the wall and made by a known luthier.
