Curbow Club

OK folks, show 'em if you've got 'em. I guess this makes me #1 by default. I might edit this post later if I take more proper photos, but in the meantime, let's get the ball rolling!

Hate to be elitist, but this club will be or US Curbow basses, not the Cort models.

Yep... found a thread of people that were discussing starting one, but didn't actually find one. If you know something I don't, please feel free to point me in the right direction.

Nice stuff! I need to find a fretless 5 somewhere. I haven't even seen a singlecut Curbow before.

You're #2, good sir.

I just saw a 'Curbow Club' thread, but didn't read it. Carry on.

I mis Greg. He was a one in a million.

Somtimes I did a little work for him. Not a bunch but I have sanded a Bass or two and installed some Barts. I would go up there and stay for a while.

This is turning out to be a very exclusive club, with all of two members. Surely more people have one of Greg's fine pieces (and a photo of it).

There are a lot of Curbows out there. But you never see them. When people get them they hang onto to them for the most part. Except for gear freaks like me.

I have owned a number of Curbows through the years. My favorite was a Neck Through 4 string fretless. Alder body wings in front Purple Heart in back. Purple Heart neck with Ebony finger board. Bart Pups and Pre with volume , blend, trebile, middle, bass. It was a plain jane looking bass but I would be so mistified to get it back. If anyone knows where this Bass might be please by all means contact me.

I am in the process of trying to get my original Curbow Custom Neck Through back. Perhaps one of the most ornate and fancy IEP Basses he ever built with custom inlays etc.....

I have some pics of these on film I never had developed. Perhaps I should get it developed.

I currently do not own a Curbow but as many hours as I spent working on Curbow Basses, playing them, owning them, smoking with Greg I should belong to the club.

Pics or it doesn't exist We'd be happy to have you aboard, as it's a skeleton crew thus far... you'd be #3.

It's right there in his profile pic, so I think we can take his word for it! (Nice Petite, BTW...)
