Cure for my GAS

Sign in to disble this ad
I been buying and selling a lot and just this year alone I went through 14 different basses....I finally found the cure for it all!

Im just gonna buy as many as I can afford without needing to sell!

GAS can be dangerous.
some possible solutions:
-get a girlfriend and spend the money you would normally spend on gear on her.
-find a new hobby
-start doing drugs and you wont have to worry about having any gear
-buy every bass you ever wanted and go broke doing it

im in the same boat, ive told myself no more basses for awhile, i need to update amp rig.
then once i get in a solid band, perhaps a new bass. but im trying to learn to be content.

Im married and my wife gets her allowance every week. Tried all kinds of hobbies but I just end up spending money on it and selling it. Tried drugs when I was younger and just not my thing...
time to go broke now

Trust me, that won't work. I tried doing the same "buying as many as I can without selling"....and then I discovered trading! It's actually my preferred route these days, cause selling is a pain, and while I have to be a bit more patient, I find it's easier to find people who want to make a trade. I haven't purchased a new bass outright since March, but I've had 5 new basses since then just by trading. I know I'm not done yet either...

my dad told me to get everything i wanted before i get married.
trying to do so.
my gas list is small, but changes often.
i have a few that i would like to get, but since they are big investmens itll be awhile.

my advice, find a few you truely want to get and pursue.
you can check my profile, my gas list is pretty basic, but expensive.
ill be content one day, trade and buy and sell, but until i get those few ill move around a bit.
