Custom designed Ibanez bass

Custom designed Ibanez bass on Kijiji ... Not mine yet but someday if I'm really really lucky perhaps...

"I don't know the exact model of this bass but from what I can tell Ibanez doesn't make it anymore. Its a pretty good bass. Plays great for the price and sounds really good too.

When I got it, it was straight black. I didn't like it so I stripped it down and made a custom design with fabrics that I found lying around. The headstock I left as a natural finish. I know it might not be for everyone but its completely unique.

This bass is special to me so I'm not really looking to get rid of it but if the right offer comes along I would sell it or trade it; so make me an offer.

PS this item is located in Bowmanville while I'm in Hamilton. I can arrange a meeting but only for serious buyers or traders"

Nothing like a <$150 Ibanez GAX bass tarted up with a little fabric to make it "custom designed."

if you like how it looks thats great. but i wouldnt use it for much onstage playing. i wouldnt even want to think of how the fabric would absorb sweat and start to stink after a while!

The polka dots just don't go. The paisley makes me nauseous. The stripes... don't feel right.

That thing is also..

Bad in plaid.

Sweet. Of course, it's worth $100 tops, or would be if it were mint stock. Still, I wouldn't mind getting one of those and making it a lefty.....

If Eddy Van Halen had been an Amish bassist, that may well have been the most copied bass in the 80's.
